• Proceed to the security gate at No 6
Deactivate the Alarm using the Remote provided
Proceed as follows:
1) Open the security door.
2) Before opening the entrance door, press the white button on the remote to disarm the alarm.
3) Unlock the Entrance door, open and enter. (You may need a flashlight if it is dark).
• Switch on the fridge at the wall.
• Switch on the geyser and stove at the distribution board between bedroom 2 and 3.
Cleaners!
• We will arrange for our cleaners to clean up after your departure or on the day of departure for which we will pay from your booking fees. Any additional days you require cleaners will be charged for additionally and must be booked before your arrival.
• Please ensure that there is always a black bag in the refuse bin. A big refuse bin is provided just outside the apartment. Place your full refuse bags in it.
• The cleaners will do this after your departure or on the morning of your departure if we are expecting other guests on the same day!
• Empty the contents of the dustbin located in the kitchen (in a plastic bag), and place it in the black dustbin just outside the apartment. Any perishable garbage is to be placed in the top rubbish bins accessed via the stairs next to the main gate!
• Close all the windows. Draw all the curtains.
• Switch off the fridge.
• Ensure that all taps are closed.
• Check that all electrical appliances are switched off.
• Turn the geyser and stove off at the distribution board.
• Check that all external doors are locked.
Activate the Alarm using the Remote provided
When departing you need to arm the alarm. Proceed as follows:
1) Close all doors and windows including the Main Bedroom door.
2) Exit out through the Entrance door and lock it and the security gate.
3) Press the white button on the remote to arm the alarm.
A gate remote for the sliding gate,
a dedicated single button panic remote- connected to Gladiator Security and
a third remote with two buttons for arming and disarming the alarm. To arm/disarm using the remote, stand at front door and use the two button remote , the white button is for arming & disarming and the red is another panic.
